The Norwegian
Outdoor Center’s mission: Teaching people to better understand
and respect themselves, others, and all of Nature through a unique
outdoor educational experience, accessible to everyone.
Simply stated:
We take people outdoors and have fun.
Since 1980,
the Norwegian Outdoor Exploration Center has been providing team-building
programs that ensure an adventure filled with great fun, effective
team development, and magnificent scenery.

Low
Ropes Course: (2 - 7 hours)
The Low Ropes
Course, our most popular team building activity, is an upbeat and
success-oriented program that is both fun and suitable for all abilities.
This course is designed to use nature’s obstacles to facilitate
a group’s collective strategy. The Norwegian Outdoor Center understands
that your organization is composed of very different people with
a range of abilities. Our Low Ropes Course offers the perfect balance
of stress-free fun and effective team development
that is suitable for everyone.

Stranded in the Rockies: (4 - 6 hours)
Stranded in
the Rockies leaves participants with feelings of personal accomplishment
and improved team-working capabilities. To provide our participants
with an example of nature’s extreme behavior, our guides will present
a descriptive scenario of impending inclement weather and the resulting
loss of transportation and communication to the outside world. Come
get "stranded" with the Norwegian Outdoor Center for a
few hours—we will show you characteristics of your team that will
enrich their group dynamics for years to come!

Corporate
Olympic Games (2 - 6 hours)
Corporate Olympic
Games are a fun and exciting way for participants to spend the day.
In today’s corporate culture, we often find ourselves overwhelmed
with memos, overheads, and deadlines all leading to a loss of group
cohesion and personal perspective. These games provide
participants with opportunities to bond as a group while reflecting
on the true simplicity of life. Corporate Olympic Games are sure
to have people of all ages brimming with laughter.

Team-Building
Pricing and Information:
- Programs
are available for groups eight or more for $25.00 per hour, per
participant.
- Round trip
door-to-door transportation included within Summit County.
- All necessary
equipment and rentals included.
- Delicious
lunches from a local deli are also available for an additional
$10.00 per person.
