Program Design: Rocky Mountain Excitement, Creative Fun, and Team Development

To provide our participants with an example of nature’s unpredictable behavior, our guides will present a descriptive scenario of impending inclement weather and the resulting loss of transportation and communication to the outside world. This program begins with a drive into some of Summit County’s spectacular backcountry, where the Norwegian Outdoor Center’s Stranded in the Rockies program awaits. Once your team is in the woods, the activity will begin and your group will embark on an adventure of excitement and imaginative fun!

Learning Objectives: Group Dynamics, Responsibility, and Leadership

Stranded in the Rockies is an exhilarating activity that will leave participants recognizing their personal accomplishments, while improving team responsibility and execution. Every program is designed around the needs and expectations of each particular team. An on-site debriefing session that allows the group to collectively discuss the issues that surfaced during the day is also included in this activity. Stranded in the Rockies is an unconventional team-building program that offers participants the opportunity to show various, never before seen, personality strengths and leadership capabilities.

Team-Building Pricing and Information:

• Programs are available for groups eight or more for $25.00 per hour, per participant.
• Round trip door-to-door transportation included within Summit County.
• All necessary equipment and rentals included.
• Delicious lunches from a local deli are also available for an additional $10.00 per person.
