The Norwegian Outdoor Center’s mission: Teaching people to better understand and respect themselves, others, and all of Nature through a unique outdoor educational experience, accessible to everyone.

Simply stated: We take people outdoors and have fun.

Since 1980, the Norwegian Outdoor Exploration Center has been providing programs that ensure each participant the most relaxing and enjoyable experience possible.

Spring, Summer, and Fall Nature Tours:
(2 - 6 hours)

• Nature / Wildflower Walk: Enjoy a relaxing walk through Utah’s magnificent backcountry, while admiring many of the glorious wildflowers that blanket the countryside.
• Nature / Wildflower Hike: Discover the wonders of nature as our guides lead participants through some of the area’s most spectacular canyons. For guests eager to gain some elevation while enjoying nature’s beauty, this trek is often the capstone of their Rocky Mountain experience.

• Wildlife Tour: Experience this spectacular tour through the surrounding backcountry with the Norwegian Outdoor Center. We have studied the behaviors of local animals for years and are ready to show people of all ages and abilities how exciting animal tracking can be.
• Twilight Tour: Whether you catch the evening’s sunset or relax underneath the moon and stars, our twilight tour is a peaceful conclusion to a day in Park City.

Winter Snowshoeing Tours:
(2 - 6 hours)

Let the Norwegian Outdoor Center show you the true character of the Utah Rocky Mountains. Our guided Winter Snowshoeing Tours offer guests an opportunity to explore the area’s magnificent backcountry complete with pristine forests, quaint streams, and astounding views.

Leisure Program Pricing and Information:

• Programs are available for groups three or more for $20.00 per hour, per participant.
• Pricing available for one and two person tours.
• Round trip door-to-door transportation included within Summit County.
• All necessary equipment and rentals included.
• Delicious lunches from a local deli are also available for an additional $10.00 per person.
